Biography
Connie Britton was born in the small town of Boston, Massachusetts. She is the daughter of a proud physicist called Allen Womack and his wife Linda Womack. She studied in a school near Virginia called the E. C Glass high school after which she proceeded to attended Dartmouth college where by she majored in Australian studies. In 1989 she graduated from Dartmouth college and soon afterwards she moved to New York City to further her studies.
Career
While still continuing with her studies in New York, Connie Britton was able to make her first debut in the film industry when she landed a role staring as the seasoned prostitute in Caroline Kava’s film named the Early Girl. In this film, Connie’s top quality performance made her stand out in the film and theater industry in general. As the years passed, Connie was involved in numerous off Broadway theater productions which increased her continued success as an actress. In 1995 she did a film titled The Brothers McMullen after which she decide to move to Los Angeles, where she was involved in numerous volunteer projects.
Connie did not stop there as she also played a role in the film Spin City as well as co starring in and India thriller called ‘The Last Winter’ in 2006. Connie Britton was also able to secure a recurring role in the all time favorite television series 24 where she was able to work alongside big names in the film industry such as Kiefer Sutherland who playes the lead role of Jack Bauer.
Connie has appeared in several episodes of the television drama ‘West Wing and also on a number of episodes in the series called Manchester although she only appeared in part one and part two of season three. Currently, Connie Britton is starring in the popular television drama Friday Night Lights, a position she fills rather fluidly and naturally having starred in the original Friday Night Lights movie. The program airs in the NBC. There are also rumors doing the rounds in Hollywood and the entertainment main street that Connie Britton has been signed on in the remake of the popular slash horror flick Nightmare on Elm Street.

Connie Britton enjoys most of the out door activities such as running, riding bikes, hiking and also doing a lot of volunteer work. Connie is also fluent in Chinese as she studied Chinese in Beijing. Connie was married to John Britton in the 1991 but after a loveless marriage they divorced four years later. Expect a lot more from Connie Britton in the days ahead as Hollywood is not yet done glittering her star as there is still a mountain of potential in this star’s reserves.
