Although the final season of Friday Night Lights has already aired on DirecTV, the season is currently airing weekly on Friday nights on NBC. As of May 27th, seven episodes have aired on NBC. While it’s sad that Connie Britton’s Tami and the rest of FNL’s characters will be gone after this season, the good news is this season has been quite good so far.

Billy Riggins Stepping Up to Fill the Void of His Younger Brother

While previews indicate he will appear in at least one more episode, Tim Riggins was only on camera in the opening episode of the season. The reason this fan favorite isn’t getting screen time is because he’s currently in jail. He ended up going behind bars so his brother didn’t have to be taken away from his wife and baby to serve time.

Billy Riggins has really stepped up as a strong supporting character. He had an excellent scene with Coach Taylor when he said he wanted to be on the Lions’ coaching staff so he could benefit from Eric’s positive influence. His contributions to the coaching staff have been quite good so far. But in true Riggins’ fashion, he’s had plenty of humorous moments. This was especially true during his training and advice session with Luke Cafferty.

Tami Dealing with Unexpected Trouble with Julie

The season began with Julie leaving the Taylor home and heading to college. This made it seem like most of the challenges faced by Connie Britton’s character were going to be at work. However, a scandalous twist brought Julie back home to Dillon. Tami is currently struggling with how to keep Julie on track with school.

Some people will love a certain celebrity mostly because they are a part of their favorite show or movie in many cases. Connie Britton is one of the many talented actresses out of different TV series and movies however most people who are a fan of the spin city series simply love her great acting. Born in 1968 you would not think that a beautiful lady like Connie Britton is over the age of 40 years. Spin City which was a comedy TV series making fun of American politics also starred the talented Michael J Fox and was a perfect set up for Connie to work in and backed by Fox was a great eye opener for her and a fresh career prospect. Michael actually said how much he enjoyed working with her.

Connie is also known for her role in the Saturday Night Lights starring next to Billy Bob Thornton. This series helped her career again take it up a notch as she was a co-star rather than an extra. Saturday Night Lights made it very big in America as well as a few other places in the world. Connie’s name made it past the first line of credits that has in no short terms made it easier for her to get starring roles in other parts. Lucky for us we are going to see much more of Connie Britton in the future through TV and film which should be a very big thrill for her many fans.

Very occasionally, a television show is made that gains something of a cult status. These shows usually centre around one sort of theme; whether that be computer games or sports, because that is where large groups of people have interests in the same thing. The most popular subject in the US is football; you will not find a bunch of jocks anywhere who isn’t aware of the sport and who won’t be able to tell you hundreds of facts about teams and players over the last 50 years. Indeed, it could even be said that football is more important than academics; this is certainly the case for some who are very talented, as they will be able to gain scholarships – football is a ticket to college and, potentially, a livelihood for those whom academics didn’t come easy.

Friday Night Lights is one such show. Following the life of a young high school football player trying to get through his school years, the show has seen massive success since it first aired on NBC in 2006. The show has been nominated for many awards including an Emmy and their stars have also received acclaim. One such star was Connie Britton, who was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama series. Although she didn’t win, the future of this show looks incredibly bright. This bright future will undoubtedly rub off on the actors who, we should expect, will see themselves receiving further acclaim for their work in television.

Even though many people would recognize Connie Britton if they sore her on the street they might not actually remember which TV series and movie that she has been in. Still an up and coming actress Connie started her career with broadcasting and television later than most of the Hollywood celebrities which was a great sign of times for women showing us that mature aged women out of their teens could be a great sensation on screen. Born in the city of Boston in America she can be classed as an all American actress who appears on many of the American TV series. At the age of 27 years old she managed to secure her first role on TV and featured in a show called the Brother’s Mc Mullen. A popular TV series at the time her character was one of the family members of the McMullen clan named Molly McMullen.

Connie Britton was then put into a straight to TV movie which was the popular style or low budget movies at the time in 1996. The internet was still taking off and these movies where not available to all of the masses just yet but TV and cable TV was out there for everyone to enjoy. In 2001 her big break came as she played three different parts for that year alone. Connie played the mother of the famous child star Shirley Temple which was another great movie to see going straight to TV. In 2005 and in 2006 Connie was placed into two roles each for those two years which added greatly to her growing list of TV appearances. Even though Connie Britton was a late bloomer in the public eye it was just as easy for her to become an instant celebrity once she had found her feet because her acting abilities lead the way.

There are so many beautiful and stunning American actresses who grace the Hollywood productions every year. The broad walk and runways are filled with models who are also waiting to be actresses however it is only the talented and beautiful that get the good roles. Connie Britton is one of these lovely ladies who have been in the movie and TV series industry for quite a few years however she did make a slow start to her career on screen. Connie was born in 1968 however she was not given anything in the way of a part on screen until nearly 30 years later in 1995. Her first part must have impressed enough people to make sure that Connie was still going to get more roles in Hollywood after her first part. Connie started her career in an off Broadway production until she was found by an agent who took her to more exciting places.

In 1995 she played the part of Molly in the movie The Brothers McMullen which was her first ever role and not a bad start to her career. The movie was not so great but her part within it was enough to get her another shot at acting. The very next year she was put into a straight to TV movie called the Escape Clause. It was not until two years later that Connie could find another part which was a smaller role in the movie No Looking Back where she played the part of Kelly. Leading to 2001 her career and luck changed when she was asked to be in 3 different movies for that year. The Shirley Temple Story, a Child Star was one of the movies, again straight to TV as well as The Next Big Thing and One Eyed King. This year you can see Connie in the latest Nightmare on Elm Street movie which cast Connie as Marge Thompson one of the neighborhood women. It will be a good role even if the movie itself is just another remake.

Connie Britton was born Constance Womack on March 6th 1968 in Boston, Massachusetts. Connie is an American actress. She is the daughter of Linda an Allan Womack.

When we look into the mix of all the American actors and actresses we find that there are so many it is becoming difficult to determine who the best is and who needs to be rewarded for their valiant efforts. Hollywood is a dangerous place for people that are trying to get into television since there are so many people trying to prey on the young and the innocent. Most of the time the small parts which are filled by the small actors and actresses go without much notice like the part played by Batman’s Butler who is never really a credible character but needed never the less. Connie Britton is one of these American actresses who has only had a few parts in her career compared to people like Bruce Willis or Uma Thurman.

It is still polite to give a small salute to the other characters that are a part of the entire film otherwise the film would be rather short and pretty boring. In 1996 she played a role in the movie Escape Claus which was a movie just designed to go straight to the TV and bypass the movie theatres. This was the changing times where these smaller details could easily ruin an actor’s career however there were plenty of golden moments amongst the dark ones. In 2001 a hit movie call the Next Big Thing came out with Connie in one of the lead roles. She played the part of Kate Crowley who was one of the women trying to do something with their lives. In the Life Coach she played a role which was names Connie too which was another success story for Connie Britton. In 2010 we are looking forward to seeing Connie in a main part of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies which will be the next big block buster horror movie that all the teenagers will flock too.

For a lady in her forties you would have to agree that Connie Britton is one hot looking lady who knows how to look good for the cameras of Hollywood and for the places like Broadway. A talented actress appearing in many different roles you can see Connie make an appearance in the series Spin City which is a funny show about a group of people trying to lie their lives one day at a time in a big city that seems to be eating them alive. She also has a part in the long running series 24 where a guy is being chased by everyone including his own people because he has been framed for crimes he did not commit.

As the wife of one of the main characters in the series Friday Night Lights she plays a strong role trying to keep the peace in the house as the head coach works out his worries about his football team. There is plenty of action in this series if you are a sports fan and like the idea of a show based on an up and coming football team. Some of the movies that she has appeared in are ones like the life coach and no looking back but her best roles seem to be in her TV series that she is always a great actress in. Her talents should take her far and for a good looking lady there is no telling where we might see her next.
